TextHelp Relaunches 'DSA Connect' Mini Series Due to Popular Demand

TextHelp have announced the relaunch of 'DSA Connect', a mini series designed to enhance support for students with specific learning needs. Responding to popular demand, TextHelp will host these insightful events throughout the year, beginning with a webinar on Wednesday, June 19th, at 2 PM.

What is DSA Connect?

DSA Connect is a series of free events curated to assist educators, students, and professionals in better supporting students with unique learning requirements. The Disabled Students’ Allowance (DSA) program provides specialized support to post-secondary students who have additional needs. Despite its importance, nearly a third of neurodivergent students remain unaware of their eligibility for DSA or the application process.

Bridging the Gap in Student Support

TextHelp’s DSA Connect aims to bridge this gap by inviting industry experts, students, and educators to discuss vital topics related to student support. The goal is to foster a well-connected DSA community, promoting the exchange of ideas and strategies to improve higher education for all students.

The first event in this miniseries is scheduled to coincide with Learning Disability Week. Participants are encouraged to mark their calendars for the upcoming webinar on June 19th at 2 PM. This session will offer valuable insights and practical advice to better support neurodivergent students and ensure they can fully benefit from the DSA program.

TextHelp’s commitment to enhancing educational support underscores the importance of awareness and accessibility. By relaunching DSA Connect, TextHelp continues to lead the way in advocating for students with learning disabilities, ensuring they receive the support they deserve.
