A new publication promotes access to and enjoyment of the countryside by all.
A North Yorkshire Countryside Directory has been put together by people with a disability for people with a disability; although the places and information included will be useful to everyone.
The directory highlights all the local countryside has to offer for all regardless of abilities. Opportunities include joining a group, doing voluntary work, or getting out into the countryside to appreciate and discover wildlife.
Readers are encouraged to contact Open Country or another of the organisations listed in the directory to further develop the activities and information available.
