Talk To Me

Talk to Me’ is a free, interactive training simulation designed to give adults the confidence to hold difficult conversations with children about abuse, designed by Attensi in collaboration with the NSPCC.

As anyone who works with children knows, learning to communicate effectively and build their trust is vital. Particularly so when it comes to dealing with abuse. ‘Talk to Me’ is now available to use through your web browser, for free, where you will learn:

- how to communicate with children who you fear are at risk of abuse, with cnfidence

-to develop your active listening skills and respond appropriately to what they say.

-all in a safe, repeatable, virtual training environment.

Built on safeguarding best practice, ‘Talk to Me’ is a new and innovative way for adults to develop their safeguarding conversational skills. The first two fictional scenarios are set in a school environment and deal with concerns about domestic and sexual abuse.

The programme is FREE as the pilot project has been funded by Innovate UK, the UK’s innovation agency, as part of its national COVID-19 Fast Response initiative.
