A range of research projects are currently happening at Durham University’s Centre of Neurodiversity & Development.
Researchers at Durham University are seeking students and their parents/carers to help them with their current research projects around neurodiversity. The current projects which are focused on autism and ADHD include:
1. A project that will provide an insight of the factors that impact on academic achievement and quality of school life for autistic children and young people.
2. An online study that looks at what school success means for autistic children and young people.
3. Which strategies are the most useful for pupils who are experiencing school-based anxiety?
4. Autism knowledge levels in adults in the general population.
5. Real-world experiences of girls with ADHD, with a specific focus on their emotional well-being, social interactions, and school experiences.
