Richmond School & Sixth Form is gearing up to host a vibrant evening of music, dance, and community spirit as it invites locals to join in a Ceilidh fundraiser on May 18th, 2024. The event aims to raise funds for Home-Start, a charity dedicated to supporting parents in Richmondshire to provide the best possible start in life for their children.

Home-Start recognizes that the family home serves as the cornerstone for a child's happiness and security. By offering the right assistance and guidance, parents can create a nurturing environment that lays the groundwork for their child's future success and enhances their life opportunities.

The Ceilidh, set to take place from 7:30 pm to 10:30 pm at the Richmond School Sixth Form Hall, promises an evening of traditional Scottish and Irish music, lively dancing, and community camaraderie. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in the age-old Ceilidh dance forms, known for their energetic reels and jigs, under the guidance of experienced instructors.
